Jewelry Care
How to Care for Your Orlari Jewelry
Proper care helps preserve the finish, color, stones, engraving, and personalized photo details of your jewelry.
Everyday Care
- Remove jewelry before swimming, bathing, exercising, or doing household cleaning.
- Avoid prolonged contact with water, sweat, perfume, lotion, sunscreen, hairspray, alcohol, and household chemicals.
- Put jewelry on after cosmetics and fragrance have dried.
- Do not wear jewelry while sleeping if the design may catch, bend, or experience pressure.
Cleaning
Wipe your jewelry gently with a clean, soft, dry cloth after wearing. For light cleaning, use a slightly damp soft cloth and dry the piece completely. Do not use abrasive cloths, polishing compounds, toothpaste, bleach, or harsh chemical cleaners unless the product instructions specifically allow them.
Personalized Photo Jewelry
Keep photo inlays and printed surfaces away from sharp objects, abrasive surfaces, and prolonged moisture. Do not scrape or polish directly over the personalized image. Store the piece separately to reduce scratching.
Stainless Steel and Carbon Fiber
Stainless steel and carbon fiber are durable materials, but the surface can still be scratched or affected by chemicals. Rinse away accidental exposure to salt water or chemicals promptly, then dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
Silver and Plated Jewelry
Silver may naturally tarnish over time. Store it in a cool, dry place and use a cloth intended for silver when necessary. Plated finishes should be cleaned gently without aggressive rubbing, as repeated friction can wear the surface.
Stones
Avoid dropping or striking stone-set jewelry against hard surfaces. Sudden impact can chip a stone or loosen its setting. Check settings periodically and stop wearing the piece if a stone feels loose.
Storage
Store each piece separately in its box, pouch, or a soft-lined compartment. Keep jewelry away from direct sunlight, humidity, and extreme temperatures.
